I understand that CAT ET can also work with the Nexiq 2, not just the CAT Comm Adapter, but I can’t get it to connect properly
I’ve already reinstalled the Nexiq drivers, tried a different USB port, and even checked all the wiring, but it still won’t detect the ECM
The adapter powers up fine and communicates with other programs like Service Ranger and DDDL, so I know the Nexiq itself is good
In CAT ET, it just says there’s no communication with the ECM.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Go to the Utilities → Preferences → Modify menu, then navigate to the Communications section and select RP1210 Compliant Device. After that, in the list of devices, choose the one that says Nexiq USB-Link 2
